For maximum efficacy, we recommend you do not wear anything under your base layer; this would include a heart rate monitor with a strap around the chest. Stimulation should never be applied near metal. Remove all jewelry, body piercings, belt buckles, or any other removable metallic product or device in areas of stimulation. You can wear a heart rate monitor that is worn on the wrist, e.g. Apple Watch, Whoop or Oura ring. Optical heart rate monitors work well, while we see interference with devices that try to measure the heart rate electrically.
